Embrace the Spirit of Netball at UC College’s Netball Academy
Netball has been an integral part of UC College’s sporting tradition, with our women’s
team achieving remarkable milestones since the early 1960s. Over the past decade,
our college teams have established a strong foundation for the sport, displaying
exceptional talent and determination. To foster this passion for Netball and extend its
reach beyond the college, the Physical Education department proudly introduces the
Netball Academy.
Recent Triumphs:
In the current year, our Netball teams have proudly secured the MG University
Championship in both Men’s and Women’s categories, adding to our growing list of
achievements. Several players from our academy have represented Kerala state teams
and university teams, bringing laurels to both the state and the university. UC College
has also had the honor of hosting various National Games selection trials, State and
district Netball championships, and camps, reaffirming our commitment to the growth
of Netball at regional and national levels.
Empowering Future Champions:
Our experienced coaches and instructors offer advanced training to participants,
starting from the grassroots level. The focus goes beyond skill enhancement,
emphasizing values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Emphasis on Fitness and Recreation: Beyond competitive training, the Netball
Academy encourages overall fitness and recreation. Participants are inspired to
embrace a healthy lifestyle and enjoy the joy of physical activity.
 Class Timings: We have sessions available in the evening, ensuring flexibility
and accessibility for all.
 Friday : 4.00PM to 6.00PM
 Saturday : 7.00 AM to 10.00AM
